The Invisible Dog Fence - Dog Owner's Best Friend

Did you ever dream that you could let your dog out the door without having to worry about him running away, or getting into the neighbor's garbage, or harassing the neighbor's dog, or…or…or… without paying a small fortune to build a fence? It's all possible with an invisible dog fence.

I've been a dog owner for over 25 years, and will probably go on having a "best friend" for most of my remaining time on this earth. There are only a few things about dogs that I don't like, and with all the advancements in technology, one being the invisible dog fence, many of those issues have been either resolved or at least partially addressed by technology.

Take the problem of keeping your dog in your yard for example. Before the invisible dog fence, the options used to be you had to spend the time to train him to stay in the yard, build a fence around a portion of your yard, keep him on a chain, or take him out when he went out and stay with him outside to keep him around. But the invisible dog fence has changed all that.

Our first dog, a black lab, stayed in a kennel beside the garage. I basically built it from scratch, (there wasn't such a thing as an invisible dog fence back in those days), and after much time and effort to build it, it worked very well…at least until my wife decided that the winters were too cold and the summers too hot to have the poor dog outside all the time. So Cindy became a house dog. When she was outside, we had to be outside with her just to make sure she stayed around. And that worked just fine. She stayed around most of the time , and when you said come, she came...most of the time.

Our second dog, Mindy, also a black lab, was pretty much like Cindy, except Mindy was 100% house dog. We had the good fortune to be living in the country, with the nearest neighbors not very near us, so when we left Mindy out, she pretty much stuck around, and there wasn't too much trouble she could get into, so we didn't even have to watch her when she was outside. No need for an invisible dog fence with Mindy.

After Mindy, there was Duke, another black lab. Likes to run…every chance he gets. Doesn't listen worth a hoot, and so, when we take him out, he would be on a leash. So picture this: an old guy (or gal), standing outside in the snow, in a house coat and slippers, holding a leash, waiting for this dog to do his thing. (And the dog is in no big hurry…lots of stuff to sniff you know). Not what you would say a pretty picture. What we don't do for our dogs. We needed an invisible dog fence bad.

Well, there is a better way. Now, with an invisible dog fence, when he has to go out, all we have to do is make sure he has his collar on and open the door. Actually, after he's fully trained, he really doesn't need the collar on anymore. When he wants to come in, he stands at the door and barks once. So we let him in. Pretty sweet. All made possible thanks to technology.

If you would like take the hassle out of owning a dog, and simplify the chore of taking care of your dog, while at the same time making it more pleasant for your dog, get an invisible dog fence.
